MeBeSafe at a SAFER fair

11th April 2019

Huge crowds of people interested in road safety came to talk to MeBeSafe at a SAFER fair in Gothenburg. SAFER, the vehicle road safety centre at Chalmers, celebrated ten years by showing off their greatest projects.

MeBeSafe had a booth showing off the results from the Gothenburg cycling studies, and people were constantly talking to the researchers Pontus Wallgren and Victor Bergh Alvergren. Rumble strips and bumps is currently the main method used to communicate with cyclists. However, solely visual interventions were shown to have better effects and much higher appreciation.
